Christmas at the Marae 2018

The ninth annual Christmas Day community lunch at Cambridge Community Marae is being held on Christmas Day (Tuesday the 25th of December 2018). Especially welcome are those new to Cambridge or those who may find themselves alone on Christmas Day – it’s heaps of fun and all are welcome.

A hangi, dessert and live entertainment are all part of the celebration. Please register for the lunch below (by Monday the 17th of December – so we know the numbers coming) or ring Vinnie on 021 704 012 for further information or offers of help. The day will run from 11AM-3PM (approximately) and you are reminded not to bring presents and that ours is a non-alcoholic Marae.

Please RSVP by MONDAY the 17TH of DECEMBER 2018

Koha – contributions welcome. Celebrations will start from 11AM with fun and games for the kids at Cambridge Community Marae on the corner of Bracken and Pope Terrace Leamington. Please enter through the Pope Terrace entrance.

Rates 2018

Please note that our rates info is currently being updated (November 2018) use the form below to request up-to-date information.

  • Bond (refunded upon completion of the terms of hireage)
  • Overnight Stay (use of all amenities)
  • Daily Rate (includes use of all cooking facilities)
  • Hourly rate (up to 4 hours, with use of urns, dishes, cutlery, teapots only)

Hireage terms: Our daily hireage arrival time is 2PM with checkout at 11AM (or later by negotiation). We are happy to offer some flexibility, depending upon circumstances and our availability to service your requirements but please note we reserve the right to charge an hourly rate for hireage beyond these hours.

Mattresses and Linen: You may bring your own sheets and pillows; please ensure mattresses are covered at all times. Linen (sheets and pillow cases) can be provided. We have mattresses and linen for up to 80 persons, there will be a charge according to how much linen is required.

Gas and electricity charges: For larger groups and longer stays there will be an additional charge (taken out of the bond) for electricity and gas costs, according to meter readings.

Family Christmas Lunch at Cambridge Community Marae

Kia ora koutou katoa,

Cambridge Community Marae is hosting our annual Family Christmas Lunch again on Christmas Day Sunday the 25th of December 2011.

Nau mai haere mai tatou katoa ki te marae o Kemureti! – (ALL ARE WELCOME!) Come and celebrate with us for some fun, food and fellowship.
